Branding Development
The Music Institute, an institution dedicated to the teaching and preservation of Arabic music, needed an identity development for its launch. The brief required a branding that would honour the Arabic traditions, but it shouldn’t be too conservative or looking back to the past.
To represent that, we have developed a logo and branding identity that has being clearly inspired but its Arabic roots, shapes and forms, but it’s still very clean and modern. The logo itself, instead of having a version written in Roman characters and another in Arabic characters, as it’s common in the region, brings a very innovative solution which is the use Roman characters with an undeniable Arabic flavour to it.
